Looking into insulation system/products to super insulate a cargo van conversion into a camper van. Was thinking of using a layer of Ceramic Fiber Paper as the inner most layer and beneath the interior decorative panels. Question is, would this extreme high heat insulation work as a good insulator for a cargo van?
Joe, our ceramic fiber blanket would work, ceramic fiber paper is just for gasket applications, and frankly overkill for what you’re trying to do. Just make sure you encapsulate the fiber because you don’t want to be in contact with it.
How about a shed to home conversion would This type of Insulation be good for it? It is s wooden building with shingle roof and I need the most efficient and inexpensive way to do it because I’m on a fixed income.

Would the blanket form of this insulation work to insulate my furnace ducts?
it would work, but highly overkill. Try to search for furnace duct insulation that better fit your needs.
